When planning your top you have to decide on a number of issues.

Edge detail.The industry standard is polished flat with a small chamfer but there are many alternatives available such as Bullnose or Half Round. These edge details are usually more expensive.

Type of sink ie undermounted or "drop in".an undermounted sink is more expensive as the aperture has to be polished.It is usual to incorporate a set of inclined drainer grooves with an undermounted sink.Most Granite tops have undermounted as it looks much neater.

Upstands.To complete the apearance 100mm high matching upstands are available with polished top
